🚀 Exciting News from clone:it at AEC Hackathon Munich!
Last weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to present a challenge at the AEC Hackathon in Munich.
A diverse and talented team, including experts in game development, took on the challenge we proposed:
1️⃣ Displaying large BIM models spanning several kilometers on construction sites using AR. 2️⃣ Automatically detecting and aligning BIM models with real-world edges based on preselected reference points.
36 Hours of Innovation & Collaboration
In just 36 hours, the team developed an innovative app and simulator to tackle both tasks. Their solution impressed the jury and showcased the immense potential of AR in the AEC industry.
We are thrilled to announce that the team won "Best Startup Potential" at the hackathon! 🏆
